資格認定試験
既習言語がある場合，資格認定試験に合格することで上級クラスの履修が認められます。試験は各学期初めのガイダンス期間中に実施されますので、3月上旬・9月上旬にkeio.jpに掲載されるお知らせを必ず確認してください。新入生は、入学者配布書類の「言語コミュニケーション科目の履修に関するお知らせ」を確認してください。
※アラビア語、マレー・インドネシア語については、個別に各研究室に相談してください。
※英語は、TOEFL-ITPまたはTOEFL iBTのスコアにより履修できるレベルが決定するため、資格認定試験は実施されません。下記「TOEFL-ITPの実施について」も参照してください。
※言語コミュニケーション科目として日本語科目の履修を希望する留学生・帰国生は、オンラインテストを受験し、オンラインアンケートに回答し、作文テストと日本語履修ガイダンスに必ず出席してください。
TOEFL-ITPの実施について
湘南藤沢キャンパスでは，春学期および秋学期にTOEFL-ITP（Test of English as a Foreign Language／団体向けTOEFL試験）を実施します。

春学期／9月上旬～中旬頃（予定），秋学期／3月中旬～下旬（予定）※

在学生は、学内TOEFL-ITP受験するか、必要であれば各自受験し、スコアのコピーを学事担当へ提出してください。スコアの提出期間については、keio.jpニュースで案内します。
Placement tests
Students who have already studied a language may take advanced courses as long as they pass the placement test. The placement tests will be held during the orientation period at the beginning of each semester, so please be sure to check the announcements posted on keio.jp in early March and early September. New students should refer to the "言語コミュニケーション科目の履修に関するお知らせ" (Notice regarding registration for Language Communication courses) handout distributed with the enrollment packet.
*For Arabic and Malay/Indonesian, please consult with the respective laboratories.
*No placement tests will be administered for English classes, as the TOEFL ITP or TOEFL iBT scores will determine the level of English classes that students can take. See also "Regarding the TOEFL ITP" below.
*International and returnee students who wish to take Japanese as a Language Communication course must take the online test, answer the online questionnaire, and sit the essay test and Language Course Orientation. For Japanese language courses these are available only to international and returnee students, students need to take online tests, answer the questionnaire attend the orientation and take an oral test in advance to check their Japanese level/ability.
Regarding the TOEFL ITP
The TOEFL ITP (Test of English as a Foreign Language) will be conducted at Shonan Fujisawa Campus in the Spring and Fall Semester.
Applications should be made at the Keio Co-op store at SFC. Please check with the Keio Co-op Store for details.

Current students are able to take the TOEFL ITP SFC, or take it elsewhere on their own if necessary, and submit a copy of their score to the Academic Affairs Office. Score submission period will be announced on News section at the keio.jp portal.
